5 benefits Of Bee Pollen For Skin

The health benefits that you can derive from using bee related product is immense; there are so many bye – products such as honey, bee wax, bee pollen and so much.

Honey has been used since ancient times to treat different health products, the presence of antimicrobial properties in honey helps to keep the skin healthy and free from wrinkles. It also helps to keep the moisture content in the skin from drying up thereby leaving you with a smooth and radiant skin. The use of honey for skin has been well documented; there is numerous research on the use of skin for so many skin condition and disease.

The use of bee pollen is now on the increase, this is due to the presence of nutrients and vitamins in bee pollen, it is also made up of 40% of protein that your body needs.
In this post, we are going to look at 5 benefits that you can derive from using bee pollen on your skin.

Anti-aging properties
When we get older the amount of healthy collagen produced is reduced and the breakdown of existing cells in the body is faster, this leads to the presence of fine line, wrinkles, and blemishes appearing on the skin surface. Bee pollen can be used on the skin to slow down the aging of the skin and also to improve your skin. Bee pollen also contains antioxidants that help to prevent the effect of free radicals in the body and also to reverse the effect of free radicals in the body.

Treat Acne
Acne is a skin condition which occurs when the skin pores are blocked or clogged with dirt, impurities, sebum, and bacteria. The skin becomes suddenly swollen with pus and body fluid, this pus is often painful. Bee pollen can be used to treat acne by exfoliating the skin and killing the bacteria causing acne. The presence of anti-inflammatory properties in bee pollen also helps to reduce the swollen and redness of the skin.

Remove Excess Sebum
Sebum is secreted by the sebaceous gland of the body; the sebaceous gland covers all the part of the skin except the soles of feet and palms of the hand. Sebum helps to keep your skin shining and radiant, but when the sebum becomes excess in the skin it can cause skin condition like acne, pimples, eczema and so on. Bee pollen can be used on the skin to remove excess sebum from the skin, this makes your skin shining and radiant.

Fade Dark Spot
The cause of dark spot is overexposure to sunlight, inflammation of the skin, aging of the skin, and skin conditions like acne or pimples. There are several over the counter drugs and creams that you can use to fade dark spot, though there is a mixed result from people using them. This has led to people trying natural remedies to fade dark spot, and one of them is bee pollen. Bee pollen promotes healthy skin cell regeneration to replace the worn out tissue, balance the skin pH, helps to synthesis collagen and nourishes the skin with nutrients and multivitamins.

Natural Face Cleanser
I am always a firmer believer in using naturally made products on your skin. Bee pollen is one of the naturally made products that you can use instead of face cleanser in the market. Bee pollen can be used to remove dirt, impurities, sebum, and foreign material from the skin surface. The viscous liquid also helps to balance the skin pH thereby reducing the build-up of bacteria on the skin surface.
